Women Who L.E.A.D
The official mentorship program of The Mortgage Women Leadership Council
Welcome to the Women Who L.E.A.D. Mentorship Program, the official mentorship initiative of the Mortgage Women Leadership Council. Our mission is to empower the next generation of women in the mortgage industry by fostering leadership, empowering women, advancing careers and promoting development through meaningful mentor-mentee relationships. This program connects experienced leaders with emerging professionals to guide them on their path to success.
The Women Who L.E.A.D. Mentorship Program is designed to cultivate future female leaders by focusing on four key pillars:
The Women Who L.E.A.D. Mentorship Program spans nine months, beginning with three months of mentor training. Mentees will be assigned to mentors after the training phase is completed. The program is designed to provide structured guidance and development throughout the mentorship journey. Mentor training will be provided by Build-U-Up Consulting.
Mentor Training:
Mentors will participate in a structured training program to ensure they are well-prepared to support their mentees. This includes six 90-minute sessions over a span of 3 months.
Mentorship Period:
After the training, mentors will be paired with 2-3 mentees. Mentors are expected to engage regularly with their mentees, providing guidance, support, and insights into the mortgage industry over a 6 month period.
Monthly Check-Ins:
Mentors will also participate in mandatory monthly check-ins each month, providing a space to discuss progress, address challenges, and receive additional support to ensure success throughout the program.
Our sponsors play a crucial role in making the Women Who L.E.A.D. Mentorship Program a success. Sponsorship contributions go directly toward the resources and training necessary to support the program and ensure a meaningful experience for both mentors and mentees.
If you are an experienced professional in the mortgage industry and are interested in guiding the next generation of female leaders, we invite you to apply to become a mentor. Our mentors are required to complete a mentor training program and commit to attending at least 90% of the program’s training sessions and check-ins.
If you’re an emerging leader in the mortgage industry and are seeking guidance, support, and advocacy, the Women Who L.E.A.D. Mentorship Program is for you. Apply to become a mentee and be matched with a mentor who will help guide your professional journey.
